How To Convert Lost Stolen to Clean Clear. Perform Blacklist IMEI Repair.

BLACKLIST REPAIR STEPS

This free guide will help you remove the device from lost & stolen status to clean a& clear status. It is also known as unbarring in the industry or commonly referred to as Bad ESN Fix, Blacklist IMEI Repair, IMEI cleaning, etc... The following steps will repair it all. Most will be able to use the device again in a few short days after you folloow these steps.

The very first information you need to verify before doing anything is what is the device, who is the original carrier and why was it labeled lost or stolen (blacklisted).

If all you have is an IMEI number. Go to the Following T-Mobile device IMEI Check website to see what device it is (iPhone, Android or tablet). You need to know if the device is an iPhone, Android, iPad, etc...

You need to pull as much info as possible on the device to see why it was blacklisted. The more info the better. We need to know what specific blacklist repair service to select & submit the device IMEI to so it does not get rejected.

*If iPhone, go to Direct Codes - Place Order - Device Services

Search for and Find "Apple iPhone Check"

Submit the Device IMEI

*If Android, Go to go to Direct Codes - Place Order - Device Services and submit the device IMEI to a "lost & stolen check" for that specific carrier (ie: "AT&T lost/stolen check" or "T-Mobile unpaid/lost/stolen check").

*If any other Android manufacture, go to and submit the device IMEI to a "check" or "lost/stolen check". You want to verify the device is blacklist as lost or stolen.

Find the original carrier and see if it says blacklisted. The image below says it is blacklisted and it says the original carrier is T-Mobile

Now, you need to run a Lost & Stolen Check to see why it was blacklisted.

• Whoever the original carrier is, you need to run that carrier's specific check for lost/stolen status.

• Go to "Place Order" section and then select "Device Services"

T-MOBILE

• If originally T-Mobile, submit the IMEI to a Tmobile Specific Lost/Stolen Check to find the reason it was reported Lost or Stolen.

VERIZON

• If originally Verizon, submit the IMEI to a Verizon Specific Lost/Stolen Check to find the reason it was reported Lost or Stolen.

• If original carrier is AT&T, submit the device IMEI to the AT&T lost/Stolen Check Service to see why the device was reported Lost or Stolen.

Submit the device IMEI and wait a few minutes for the results.

• You can submit either IMEI 1 or IMEI 2. Both will pull the same results.

• Our example was a T-Mobile device, so results shown are for T-Mobile.

Verify why it was blacklisted because there are specific services you need to submit the IMEI to.

Submit Device IMEI for Unbarring Service (Blacklist IMEI Repair)

Once you get the results back and you can properly verify the device's original carrier and that the device is in fact reported as Lost or Stolen, it is now time to submit the device's IMEI to the proper Unbarring Service to convert the Lost or Stolen IMEI status to a Clean and Clear Status. Most all the servers on our List of Approved Unlock Servers have an Unbarring Service for various carriers. It is up to you to check each server to verify a working and online Unbarring Service. If the service is not listed within the server at the time of your search, the specific service you are looking for is not available. Only services listed in the unlock servers are available. If it is listed in the server it is online, working and available. If it is not listed and/or missing in the server, it is considered offline and not working. You can reach out to the server's admin for any questions as it pertains to the availability on specific services.

Search for and Find the specific Unbarring Service you need for the original carrier of your blacklisted device.

Go to your unlock server of choice and in the search bar, type "unb" (short for "unbarring"). Unbarring is the technical industry term for this service we are describing. It is commonly referred to "blacklist repair" or "IMEI cleaning" but in the servers it is referred to as "unbarring" and typing "unb" in each servers search bar brings up the specific unbarring services each server offers. The server we are choosing to use today is Direct Codes. Most all the servers have unbarring services. See photo below for example.

Submit the Device IMEI

Again, find the unbarring service that matches the original carrier of your Lost or Stolen device and submit the device IMEI and then select "place order". Simply wait for an estimated processing time and the device will be removed form the Lost and Stolen status and will be placed in the Clean and Clear status in the carrier.

Notes

- Some services are for T-Mobile devices reported stolen by insurance. Some services are only for T-Mobile devices reported stolen by customer.

- If you submit the device IMEI to the wrong service the device will get rejected in the unlock server. Such as submitting a device IMEI that was reported lost by a customer to a service that is meant for blacklisted devices that were reported stolen by insurance. YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE DEVICE IMEI TO THE PROPER SERVICE ON THESE UNLOCK SERVERS OR IT WILL GET REJECTED. GET AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBBLE!

You will need to go through the list of unlock servers and find the service that matches "unbarring" for Reported Stolen by Insurance service or Reported Stolen by customer service. Which ever service matches the reason the device was blacklisted. Most all servers on our unlock server list have "unbarring" or Blacklist repair services. This is why it is imperative you find the most specific information on each and every device you service because if you submit a device for repair and it does not match the server specifics the device will get rejected and you will have to resubmit all over again, wasting time.
