Privacy Policy for Clean Status
Effective Date: March 3, 2026
At Clean Status, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our services for carrier unlocking, IMEI cleaning, iCloud removal, or purchasing GrapheneOS devices.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our specialized services, we collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, and shipping address (for Google Pixel hardware orders).

  • Device Metadata: IMEI numbers, Serial numbers, UDIDs, and original carrier information. This data is essential for performing the requested technical services.

  • Payment Information: All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. We do not store your full credit card or bank account details on our servers.

  • Technical Data: IP addresses and browser cookies to improve website performance and prevent fraudulent orders.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service Fulfillment: To communicate with carriers and Apple servers to perform unlocks or cleanings.

  • Eligibility Verification: To cross-reference your device identifiers with global databases to ensure service compatibility.

  • Hardware Shipping: To deliver Google Pixel devices pre-installed with GrapheneOS.

  • Legal Compliance: To ensure devices submitted for service are not flagged as stolen or involved in illegal activity.

3. Data Retention and Security

  • Security Measures: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your device identifiers during transmission.

  • Retention Policy: We only retain device identifiers (IMEIs/Serials) for as long as necessary to complete the 3–14 day service window and to verify refund eligibility. Once a service is confirmed successful, sensitive device data is archived or purged from our active systems.

4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share specific device data (IMEI/Serial) with:

  • Technical Partners: Server-side providers and carrier clearinghouses required to execute the unlock or cleaning.

  • Law Enforcement: If we receive a valid legal request or if a device submitted for service is flagged in a global stolen-property database.

  • GrapheneOS: We repeat that we are not affiliated with the GrapheneOS Foundation. No user data is shared with them during the installation or sale of our devices.

5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies to maintain your shopping cart and analyze site traffic. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit your ability to place orders.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Request the deletion of your data once a service is completed.

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

7. Changes to This Policy
Clean Status reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
