Shipping & Returns Policy

At Clean Status, we take pride in delivering secure, privacy-focused hardware. Because each device is custom-prepared with GrapheneOS, please review our specific shipping procedures and hardware standards below.

1. Device Condition & Preparation

  • Certified Pre-Owned: All Google Pixel 9 devices sold by Clean Status are used but in good to excellent condition. Each device undergoes a rigorous functionality inspection before being listed.

  • Custom Installation: Every phone is hand-flashed with the latest stable version of GrapheneOS. This process ensures your device is ready for private use the moment it arrives.

  • Handling Time: Because of this custom installation and testing process, please allow up to 7 business days (one week) from the date of your order for your device to be shipped.

2. Shipping Rates & Methods

We prioritize security to ensure your device reaches you safely. All shipments require a signature upon delivery.

  • Domestic (United States):

    • Cost: FREE

    • Method: Standard Shipping (Certified/Signature Required)

    • Signature: For your protection, an adult signature is mandatory. We cannot waive this requirement.

  • International Shipping:

    • Cost: $50.00 Flat Rate

    • Method: International Courier (Signature Required)

    • Customs/Duties: The recipient is responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or fees leveled by the destination country.

3. Tracking Your Order

Once your Google Pixel 9 has been flashed with GrapheneOS and packaged, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please monitor this tracking link to ensure someone is available to sign for the package.

4. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Return Window: You must initiate a return request within 14 days of receiving the device.

  • Condition: The device must be returned in the same physical condition as received.

  • Process: To start a return, please use our Contact Us form. You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the device arrives with a hardware defect not mentioned in the listing.

  • Refunds: Once the device is received and inspected, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

5. GrapheneOS Disclaimer

As stated in our Terms of Service, Clean Status is not affiliated with the GrapheneOS Foundation. We provide the service of installing the OS on used hardware for your convenience. Technical support for the operating system itself should be directed to official GrapheneOS community resources.
